I’m back with my collaboration tech stack when I am the host of the collaboration!
If you missed yesterday’s blog post, I shared that I’m often asked about my tech stack.
There’s really no one-size-fits-all tech stack, so use what works for you. After testing lots of different platforms since I started my collaboration journey in 2014, this is what works for me.
17hats: Collaborator Management.
17hats is the foundation of my collaboration tech stack. I use it for:
- Contracts are easy to read and sign. I love their automated reminders if the contract is past due.
- Reminder emails for things like promotion, data collection, etc. I love that you can use tokens to personalize these emails while still automating them.
- I use their online booking system in a variety of ways, too. Collaborators can schedule an Instagram Live with me to talk about our joint venture. When we bring experts into the District Bliss Community to lead workshops, they can select a date and time that works for them through the online booking system.

Google Drive. Document Hub.
Most of you are probably familiar with Google Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
- We keep our swipe copy and graphics, collaborator info documents (these have things like affiliate commission, promo requirements, etc.) on Google Drive.
- I track our results for large-scale collaborations, like summits, in Google Sheets (metrics are so important!).
- We use Google Docs for any and all shared documents, like swipe copy – whether they’re shared with the team or with collaborators.
- We also write all of our marketing content in Google Drive and then transfer it to our email marketing platform (Flodesk). Many of the email marketing platforms are what-you-see-is-what-you-get, meaning that if there’s some sort of glitch, you could lose what you’ve created. So, writing in Google Docs limits the risk of losing anything we’re working on. Plus, we can modify it and reuse it in the future more easily when everything is in one place.
Airtable. Data Collection and Project Management.
We use Airtable to ensure everything is in one place as we stay organized and on track.
- My team uses Airtable for task management on large-scale projects, like summits.
- We use Airtable to collect our partners’ basic info, presentations, or contributions, and more.
- We also use Airtable for our Connection Forms, which is where we collect everyone’s business info during a networking event and share it afterward. The goal is to make it super easy to connect and continue the conversation (networking is relationship building, after all!).
Flodesk: Email Capture and Nurture Sequence.
Flodesk integrates with Canva seamlessly, so it’s super easy to use and saves us a ton of time. Plus, it looks great, and it’s fun to use! (I always say that whichever email marketing platform gets you to email your list is the right platform for you.)
We use Flodesk’s forms to capture email addresses and deliver our freebie or lead gen.
We have created nurture sequences in Flodesk’s workflows that are time-bound. They welcome newbies onto our email list and nurture them with more free gifts during our onboarding process.

Canva: Graphics, Presentations
We use Canva to create our promotional graphics and our logos (for collaborations, not for our business). It’s easy to use, intuitive, and their templates are a great jumping-off point. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with Flodesk! That means we don’t have to download the files and then upload them to Flodesk. It’s surprising how much easier and more efficient it is!
ThriveCart: Contribution Delivery, Payment Capture, and Affiliate Links.
We build our checkout pages in ThriveCart, including the upgraded ticket for something like a summit. On that checkout page, we often include an optional bump. You can also set up a tripwire.
ThriveCart is currently the least expensive option out there, but it’s also a little more difficult to use than something like Kajabi.
Bonus: ThriveCart integrates with Flodesk, which is super handy. Once someone inputs their information into ThriveCart, my onboarding sequence is immediately started in Flodesk.
ConvertBox: Timer.
ConvertBox allows you to create a limited-time offer. If we are selling an upgraded ticket for a summit, we may set a 15-minute timer on the fast action price. Once the 15 minutes are up, ConvertBox expires the page and redirects to another page. It’s also great if your cart is closing at the end of your launch.
ScreenPal: Video Hosting.
If my collaboration is video-based, I’ll use ScreenPal to host any videos and embed them into ThriveCart or WordPress (my website hosting service).
If we’re hosting a multiday event, like a summit, we’ll host our speaker presentations on Screenpal. You can set dates for the videos to go live and expire, which is handy for a summit, where you’re typically giving 24-48 hour access to the speaker presentations.
It’s not flashy, but it’s reasonably priced, you can add captions, and it works well.
Successible: Accessibility Tool.
Successible is an incredibly valuable tool in my collaboration toolkit. Developed by Erin Perkins, Successible is sort of like Grammarly for accessibility. You can use it to ensure your website, landing pages, emails, etc. are accessible in terms of color contrast, captions on videos, alt. text, and so much more. It works where you do, so you can use it across pretty much every platform.
Bonus: search engines loooooove accessible sites. So, using Successible makes me more discoverable (hooray SEO!).
Pro tip: I often reuse my summit recordings as courses, which I then use as my contributions to things like bundles, cross-promotion, and even my summit freebies! If you want to hear more about that, let me know, and I’ll write a blog post about it!
That’s my tech stack when I am contributing (not hosting) a collaboration. I’ll be back next week with my host tech stack.
P.S. If this type of content is interesting to you, join us at the Collaborations that Monetize Summit, happening July 20-22, 2026. This hybrid live and pre-recorded event is designed to grow your audience through a people-first path. You definitely don’t want to miss the live events – that’s where you can connect with your future partners. You’ll leave the summit with a strategy in place AND the people you need in order to execute.
