In September of 2009, just over 6 years ago, Rima Brindamour decided it was time to dive into the photography world! She describes her style as:

I seek the quiet, the simple, the soft.

Looking through MY PORTFOLIO, you’ll see that my work is very reflective of that. Something I always try to do with my clients is give them a good 15 minutes where I’m not directing or interfering—but rather just allowing them to enjoy and appreciate each other on such a busy and hectic day. I want them to have some peace and quiet, a moment together where they can just breath and relax and think about what’s going on before it’s passed and they’ve missed it.

All that to say that I describe my style as intimate, calm, romantic, sensual, feminine, and most importantly, timeless. I love natural light, but I know how to use flash when the occasion calls for it. I like simple, non-distracting backgrounds that don’t take away from my clients. I am drawn to rustic, funky, crumbling spaces because I think they make my clients look shiny when photographed in front of them. My style is also very dependent on my clients—I like to learn as much about them as I can before and on their wedding day so as to ensure that their final images really reflect who they are as a couple.

How did you come up with the name of your business?

Brindamour is my middle name and my Grandmother’s maiden name. It means “a little bit of love” and I thought that would be the perfect fit for a wedding photography business.

Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know about your business?

In addition to shooting weddings all around the world, I also do boudoir photography and run a photo booth company, both of which mesh well with my already-existing brand.

What is your favorite part about what you do?

I love it when my clients really include me in the planning process and ask me for advice. I’ve been to SOOO many weddings and it’s great to put some of that experience to good use. I like to help my clients put togeher a day that is meaningful and thoughtfully planned out to take advantage of the location(s) and natural light.
