Three months ago, Tiffany M Jacobs finally decided she was ready to open up her own shop! She started Put It On Paper Stationery and hasn’t looked back! We are thrilled to be working with her at our upcoming DC Vendor Social on March 9th at Fathom Gallery in Logan Circle. We just know she’s going to come up with some INCREDIBLE ideas! Check out some of her work below and you’ll see exactly why we’re so excited!
When did you decide you wanted to open your own company?
Although I had been designing and creating stationery for family and friends for quite some time, I first felt the desire to start my company in 2011 – while in the process of designing my own wedding invitations. I considered the idea of opening up shop, but was about to embark upon a move to South Korea with my husband, so I put the start of my business on hold until September 2015. And, I hit the ground running!
How did you come up with the name of your business?
The name, Put It On Paper Stationery, came from my passion for paper invitations and correspondences. I get excited when I receive an invitation or note card that I can actually hold in my hand. I enjoy the personal touches to paper and handwritten notes that speak to an individual’s personality. And, a dream isn’t real until you “Put It On Paper”.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know about your business?
I am really honored to own my own business and to be an integral part of some of the most important days in others’ lives.
