Why did you decide to start your own company? How long have you been in business?
Almost 4 years!
What is your favorite part about creating unique stationery designs?
I love doing work that actually leads to something- a physical output that is going to be mailed out and cherished, coming from all the hard work I did on the job. I also really like meeting different couples, hearing their stories, and getting to know them.
Do you have a favorite type of event?
Personally, I love destination weddings. I got married in Mexico and loved every second of it. I don’t go to weddings for work, since my job is over by then, but I love attending them as a guest (especially when there’s an open bar!)
Is there anything you’d like our readers to know about you personally?
I’m new to the wedding business! I came to Park Slope Press from a marketing firm in NYC, and I love the change of pace. Working with couples in a creative way is so much cooler than working with suits who just want to lower their bottom line.
Do you have a team or do you work solo?
Full time is me and the head of production, (both named Sarah… sound familiar?) and an amazing freelance designer named Lauren. Nothing could possibly get done around here without them! Sarah knows her stuff when it comes to printing, and Lauren vibes so well with couples!
