Missed our Couples Social with Mervis Diamond Importers at District Winery in DC? Check out the Photos!

We had an absolute BLAST at our Couples Social at District Winery earlier this month!

We partnered with Mervis Diamond Importers and District Winery to throw an exclusive party for engaged couples. In true District Bliss fashion, we brought together an insanely talented group of wedding vendors to inspire – and spoil! – our guests. Let us tell you, it was STUNNING!

The weather was pretty darn miserable – rainy, cold, overcast, and just plain dreary. Well, did you know that District Winery’s patio is all-weather and the views of the Potomac River are still just breathtaking no matter what’s happening outside! How cool is that?!

Plants Alive! hung beautiful greenery and highlighted the space with lush plants (at a fraction of the cost of florals, btw), Trish Star Events hung vellum hand-made (by Sara – bonus: you can see that she wrote her own name on the tag in the back of the photo above), The Bridal Room dressed our lovely model in gorgeous gowns, drooled over the sparkly Mervis Diamond Importers wedding bands and engagement rings – all while sampling some yummmmmy bites and wine from District Winery!

We played BINGO! with stickers courtesy of 1990’s Sara (HAHA) with rad prizes like wine from District Winery, diamond earrings from Mervis Diamond Importers, HUGE savings on gowns and alterations from The Bridal Room, a Pollyanna Planning Kit (aka wedding planning in a box), a bromeliad plant from Plants Alive!, and more!

Between jamming out with Lucy Black Entertainment, couples got tons of tips and information about wedding planning, budgeting for the big day, and info about hiring vendors.
