Our first New York Vendor Social at The Bedford was wildly successful!


We had a fantastic time at our first New York Vendor Social! We met tons of rad creatives and had a blast showing off the super cool venue space at The Bedford. We love the “old New York” vibe; the cushy leather chairs reminded us of Mad Men. Love!

CharmCat’s signs and name cards were adorable. The gems were hand-painted and scanned before being placed on these cute cards! The designs and artwork were just stunning – they FAR exceeded our expectations!

It’s always inspiring to work with Menagerie and Black Sheep Bride. We love groups that support community, charity, and kindness.  It just feels so good to be surrounded by do-gooders! 🙂

We cant say enough about Workin’ the Mix! When we arrived, all we said was that we wanted music that allowed for good conversations. DJ Bobby Wolf was on point! It was prefect!

And, of course, working with the oh-so-talented Sydney’s Sweets again was, well, delicious!

We were really humbled by how accepting and excited New York was; we didn’t know what to expect when we began planning this expansion last July. We couldn’t have asked for a better turn out, a better group, or a better time. We’ve gotten to meet so many new, wonderful people and we are so pleased that we will be seeing everyone again soon (stay tuned)! 😉


Meet The Bedford

The food and drinks at The Bedford were incredible (per usual!) and the staff was wonderful.  We were lucky to sit down with the owner, Sean, after the social.  We enjoyed some wine, brussel sprouts (best.ever.) and roasted carrots, and chatted.


My favorite part of owning a restaurant is that every day is different. Each interaction is different, every problem or challenge – every day is exciting in its own way.

It’s always awesome to hear about how people decided to open a business – and all of the trials, challenges, and successes that come along with it.  Hearing how The Bedford started was really awesome. We love Sean. He is one of those super generous people with a HUGE heart who will ALWAYS go the extra mile. Needless to say, we were extremely excited to showcase The Bedford’s venue space, specialty cocktails, incredible (and reasonably priced) wines, and yummy food!


After finishing his degree in Foreign Policy and Economics, Sean became a manager at TOWN, Geoffrey Zakarian’s first restaurant, which received three stars from the New York Times. Once he started in the restaurant industry, Sean was hooked!

The learning curve was great, but came at a steady, consistent pace. Our goal is to keep it simple, but high quality food and beverages that are consistent and relatable.

We are so glad that we had the opportunity to work with The Bedford for this Vendor Social. We will certainly be back – often. We dream of the food and wine. (We’re not kidding! haha)


From our classic Bedford Plank burger to seasonally sourced oysters and seafood, and local meats, our menu offers classic food with an eclectic fair. Our wine list encompasses well known European and New World varietals as well as lesser known gems. We also offer hand crafted cocktails, many of which are adaptions of the classics.

The space occupies the site of a former garage and the design of the restaurant was meant to evoke a rustic charm. While the front dining room and bar offer a casual and intimate atmosphere to have coffee, drinks, brunch or dinner, the back room and bar are perfect for after-work cocktails or late night drink with friends.
