Meet NvShutter – Eric Vasquez Photography!

We couldn’t have a vendor social without an awesome photographer capturing it! NYC photographer, Eric Vasquez Photography will be joining us at our NY Vendor Social at The Foundry and will be snapping pics throughout the evening! He’s been in business for 1.5 years now offering photographic services for weddings, proposals, engagement parties, and corporate event gatherings!

Eric is available to photograph all types of sceneries and events and strives to create everlasting memories through his photographs! He wants all his clients to feel comfortable and be their true selves in front of the lens in order to contribute to creating a unique overall essence of the photograph and creating a beautiful, memorable moment.

Why did you decide to start your own company?

I’ve been providing photography services for about a year and a half now but have been shooting photos since I was a teenager. Always had some type of camera with me at all times and so taking something that started out as a hobby had evolved into so much more.

How did you come up with the name of your company?

The name on which my photography brand is based on the first digital point-and-shoot camera I used throughout high school. It was the Samsung NV10. Though it was a simple digital camera, it served me well capturing many moments I often find myself smiling to when viewing those photos.

What is your favorite part about what you do?

My favorite part of working with my clients is to be able to work closely with them and assure they are having a good time so that I may capture their genuine smiles, laughs, and maybe even a kiss.

Do you have a favorite type of event?

My favorite type of event has to be photographing a wedding. Such a special occasion, where two individuals stand before one another, expressing their love and vow their commitment. It is that moment in time where two individuals share their first kiss as a married couple does it feel as time stands still and it is my pleasure to be able to capture that frozen moment in time.

Is there anything you’d like our readers to know about you personally?

I like to meet with my clients beforehand to talk about any special request they may have in mind, particularly take into account their creative input into my work as it will be their moment being captured.
