While working in men’s luxury retail, Evan often helped guys pick out – well, everything. He would often teach grooms and groomsmen to tie bowties only to hear that they’d forgotten how to tie them on their wedding days (because why would you need to remember them on the day you actually need to do it, right? lol). Evan saw the need for a creative, professional on-site male concierge service. So, Knot The Guy was born!

We do love the bridal pampering; why shouldn’t the guys get treated just as well? Brilliant!

When did you decide you wanted to open your own company?

Traditionally, the bride receives all of the attention on the wedding day. While appropriate, this often leaves the groom and groomsmen on their own with the hopes that one of them knows how to tie that perfect knot or they will be able to follow a YouTube tutorial. We want to change this.

How did you come up with the name of your business?

We tie the best knots in town, hence the name.

Knot the Guy offers wardrobe styling and preparation assistance for individuals or groups for any event. We work directly with each client as we personalize solutions for your unique needs. Knot the Guy guarantees that you will always receive professional, courteous, and efficient service.

I am the owner and operator. I have 10 years of luxury retail experience.

What is your favorite part of what you do?

Our favorite part is making the groom feel special. We help make sure that all of our grooms are relaxed and satisfied because we have helped them look their best.

Do you have a favorite story related to your business?

Brides often schedule a Knot the Guy appointment as a surprise on their wedding day. The best reaction came from a groom who initially thought that he did not need our services. By the end of the appointment, he was beyond excited that we were there to assist and take the pressure off of him.
