Connecting Deaf Women: Identity & Education

Part 1:

We will explore our own identity (whether or not you identify as deaf or not!), how it intersects with power and privilege and seek to understand how that might impact our expression of how we interact with one another within our own community and outside our community

Part 2: Education

There is so much content that is available to everyone, yet I feel like we are one of the communities that truly miss out on some amazing content. Podcasts, online webinars, online courses, in-person workshops, informal networking, etc.

And we are missing out! It starts with us sharing best practices & how we can start sharing & educating those outside of our community, on helping us feel more involved & included.

By the end of this workshop, we will leave with an increased awareness of their own identities and differences and be willing to foster open communications about our own deafness.
