About the DIY Workshop:
Whether you’re putting your house up for sale or you’ve already found your dream home from somewhere like https://rodrockhomes.com/ and are just trying to keep things looking new, you want your home to look its best! Home repairs don’t all have to be expensive especially when you can learn how to do-it-yourself! For example if you are wondering how to modernise a conservatory, you might need a contractor for the more heavy duty jobs like replacing the roof, but when it comes to the decor you can get stuck in with some paints and brushes yourself. You can always get involved and try installing something like your plastic decking board yourself, and if you find you can’t do it, there’s no harm in hiring a professional. At least you will be able to say you’ve tried!
This is a hands-on DIY workshop focusing on drywall repair and basic installation. Shaughn & Co. will be joined by Michael Hutchinson of Hutchinson Painting and team members of Annie’s Ace Hardware to provide training, answer questions and provide attendees an opportunity to practice their newly learned skills.
All tools and materials will be provided. Attendees will have an opportunity to practice repairs using a number of different tools, kits and joint compounds.
