Shaughn & Co., a local realtor company here in the DMV area, offered a free DIY Workshop which involved repairing + installing drywall. The event was held in Petworth at Annie’s Ace Hardware!
Both Shaughn & Co. and the staff at Ace Hardware were incredible to work with! A mix of 20 people attended the workshop: some were residents of the neighborhood, word of mouth, and District Bliss.
Three different stations were set up to demonstrate how to install drywall on a small, medium, and large sized hole. Each demonstration took about 35 – 45 minutes which allowed attendees to rotate to each station and being able to install the drywall themselves. It was a very great and well attended event and the attendees seem to really enjoy the workshop!
