Meet Linda’s Luncheonette: The Cutest Food Truck on the Road!
Chef Linda Jo Kushner is exactly who you’d imagine driving the pink polka dot truck, serving up gourmet comfort food. She’s bubbly and quick with a laugh – and her cooking is spot-on! But, don’t just take our word for it: Linda’s Luncheonette has even been named one of Washingtonian’s Best Of. Serving lunch – and catering – in the DC, MD, VA area, even seeing this truck will brighten your day. And, then, you taste the food.
Day.made.
A longtime interior designer, Linda decided she needed a change. She’d been dreaming of opening a food truck for years and finally pulled the trigger in 2013. She got a jump start from friends, family, and fans on Kickstarter. In return, Linda and Jessie Harte, a graphic designer and long-time friend based in NYC, created all kinds of adorable gifts (including those super cute lunch box designs like the metal bento box, as an example).
Some of our personal faves are Linda’s turkey meatloaf, sloppy Linda Jo’s (see what she did there?), and mac & cheese. SO.GOOD. If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out!
(You know what’s annoying? When you have to grab crappy screenshots of your OWN PHOTOGRAPHS from Facebook because your server is being a cranky pants! Rant over. We’ll just blame daylight savings time and move on. Pardon the crappy pics of this amazing food. lol)
Linda brought the adorable Linda’s Luncheonette to our Vendor Social at Pixilated Headquarters in Baltimore, MD to share some heart-warming bites with us. The truck was perfect for our bright colors, graffiti-esque theme.
Pretty much everyone went back for seconds… or thirds. We’re not ashamed of it. It’s just that yummy!
Linda’s Luncheonette has been written up in nearly every magazine in the DMV and was even featured on the news! She made sloppy Linda Jo’s with the newscaster. How cute!

Linda’s Luncheonette does more than just serve lunch; if you’d like catering, the truck will come to you!
This adorable wedding was featured on DIY Wedding Magazine.
They opted for a food truck because they felt it completed their laid-back vibe. The guests raved about the crab cakes, pulled pork sliders, and the mac & cheese. It was different and unique!

We LOVE Linda’s Luncheonette and cannot WAIT for the next time we see that pink polka dot truck so we can get our gourmet comfort food fix!
