Elizabeth Zollner founded Soiree & Cabernet Events after getting the fun and exciting experience of planning her own wedding in 2014. Soirée & Cabernet Events caters to couples and individuals with a unique vision and curates fun and intimate gatherings, from dinner parties to weddings! Elizabeth loves to learn about her clients so she can incorporate their personality and quirks into her designs. This talented lady will be planning our NYC Vendor Social at Bogart House! In 2014, I had the pleasure of planning my own wedding where I designed/styled everything, from the invitation suite to the CD favors which were stamped with a custom logo (which matched all of the stationary of course!). The whole process was so much fun and I really loved every minute of it, even the hours I spent hand-crafting each invitation so that all 220 of them were perfect! When I had the opportunity to move to New York, I decided that it was the perfect time to break into the creative world and start a business.
I enjoy fun parties and wine, and I wanted the name to have a bit of a vintage ring to it.
The best part is taking an idea from the mood board I’ve created and bringing it to life. It’s so cool to see something conceptual become real.
Not only am I running my own business, but I am also a Regional Leader for Gals That Brunch and love meeting new people through our monthly brunches. I grew up in Chicago and used to teach Special Ed on the west side, which was just an amazing experience! Before that, I worked for a non-profit raising awareness for victims of human trafficking, an issue that I am still very passionate about. One day, I’d like to be able to donate funds from each booking to an organization that works with victims of trafficking.
