Formally known as Independence Day, the Fourth of July commemorates the birth of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776!

Fun fact! The Declaration was drafted and written by Thomas Jefferson with the help of a committee made up by John AdamsBenjamin FranklinRoger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston.

Our next DC Vendor Social will be held at The Outrage, a DC-based, women-owned clothing line. Many of you are probably familiar with their Nasty Women UniteRESISTI believe in Science, and other feminism-inspired merchandise created by founder Rebecca Lee Funk.
