Sara Alepin + Sarah Campbell joined forces to form the raddest, most hip networking events in DC, VA, NY, CA – and more locations to come SOON!
When Sarah + Sara met, they hit it off right away. While launching their personal endeavors, they realized very quickly, starting a business was not easy and they wanted to find a supportive group of piers to share this journey with. S+S began attending a variety of networking events; they felt like most events were too big, too small, and often no one seemed interested in talking to them. The ladies came to the conclusion that what they were looking for just didn’t exist.
So, S+S decided to host their own events where they could compile all of things they were looking for. Soon, the ideas started to roll in. After many long nights sampling wines and early morning meetings at local coffee shops: District Bliss was born.
Celebrate all of your hard work and give you a night off (because when do you really get one of those?)
The District Bliss events have received awesome feedback! We have grown to be so much more than we could have imagined; the District Bliss team is so thankful for all of the support we’ve received and can’t wait to host you at an upcoming event!

Sarah is a DIYer who loves finding off-the-beaten-track coffee shops, sweets, a nice gin and sour. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her four-legged yorkie mixes, frequent local farmers markets, or travel.
Executive Assistant + Unicorn
Melanie joined the District Bliss team while working toward her Studio Art degree at the University of Maryland. She loves the sense of support and excitement that surrounds District Bliss’ events. She’s the kind of gal who puts you at ease when you meet her and lightens the mood with a “lame joke”. She loves to read and write creative stories. She’s totally a sucker for sappy young adult novels. She’s obsessed with the Food Network, but cant cook to save her life. She hopes to live in New York someday!
Intern, Idaho Sate University
Ashlin is joining our team all the way from Pocatello, Idaho as she finishes up
her degrees in Elementary Education, English, and French. She is a dancer, a reader, and a constant coffee drinker. Ashlin hopes to move to the Seattle area as soon as she (finally) finishes school. She is so happy to be joining the creative District Bliss team!
