Sara Alepin + Sarah Campbell joined forces to form the raddest, most hip socials in DC, VA, NY, CA – and more locations to come SOON!
When Sarah + Sara met, they hit it off right away. They started with working together—as photographer and planner—on weddings + events. Soon, the ideas started to roll in. After many long nights sampling wines and early morning meetings at local coffee shops: District Bliss was born.
District Bliss offers two types of socials: The Couples Social and Vendor Social.
The Couples Social came to life when S+S realized how overwhelming attending bridal expos can be. The Sara(h)s believe planning a wedding should be fun, stress-free, and much more streamlined—so, Sara + Sarah decided to launch the Couples Social.

The Vendor Social blossomed when S+S realized it was super difficult to find an event where wedding + event vendors and creatives could hang out, socialize, meet new small business owners—and just have FUN!
Sara + Sarah want to celebrate all of your hard work and give you a night off (because when do you really get one of those?)
The District Bliss socials have received awesome feedback, which is super exciting! Both socials have grown to be so much more than anyone could have imagined; Sara + Sarah are so thankful for all of the support they’ve received. They can’t wait to host you at their next event!

Sara is the founder and owner of Photos from the Harty; specializing in wedding, event, and lifestyle photography. Though they are based in DC, the Photos from the Harty team has photographed weddings and events all over the United States—and beyond. Sara and her team strive to tell the story of any event or wedding by capturing even the tiniest, yet immensely important, moment. Their photographs are living, breathing instants that transport you into a different space.
When Sara is not working, she’s reading, traveling, or spending time with her friends and family—though the only day she has ever been without a camera was her own wedding day!
Co-Founder, Wedding + Event Coordinator
Sarah is the creator and owner of Pollyanna Events, a wedding and events company based in DC and Brooklyn, though they have coordinated weddings and events all over the world. Their focus is DIY weddings because she has such a creative eye for design. Give her some colors + a venue space and it’s almost like an idea board starts to form in her mind. She can bring any vision to life and makes your big day just that much extra special!
When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her four-legged yorkie mixes, frequent local farmers markets—especially when she can stock her inventory for her clients, or travel.
